OVERVIEW
Andros is one of the most beautiful Cycladic islands and offers an unforgettable hiking experience for the traveller who will choose it. It is a destination that will impress the visitor with its traditional Cycladic architecture and its beautiful beaches.
The hiker will love trekking in a place where he can admire the neverending blue of the Aegean. The traditional pure white settlememts he will meet on his way will make him understand that the island has much more to offer than just its beaches.
What makes it different from other Cycladic islands is its greenery: small bushes, herbs, colourful flowers, orange and olive trees. Andros Trail has been certified as Leading Quality Trail /Best of Europe by the European Ramblers Association (ERA) and, a stone’s throw away from Athens it is definitely an ideal destination for those who love hiking.
