Terms and Conditions (Booking Conditions)
GENERAL TERMS OF PARTICIPATION
The following General Terms and Conditions refer to general information as well as the rights and obligations of the two parties on the package travel. For specific information (destinations, prices, accommodation, etc.) for each trip separately, you can find at the current program and the relevant price list on the Website.
All bookings made through this Website are accepted under the Terms & Conditions set out in this document.
- ORGANIZER
It is the individual business under the name "Vasilios Tzemos individual enterprise", and the distinctive title "Trailducks" hereafter referred to as "Trailducks" or "Company". Trailducks is a registered travel agency based in Athens and Fragogianni 45 Papagou 15669, under the number MH.T.E 0259E70000741801, and VAT number 107963283
2.GENERAL
Walking holidays offered by Trailducks are open to all without any limitations. However, participation in them requires the participants to be aware of and accept the risks involved in hiking in nature.
Participating in an organized trip always requires the signing / acceptance of a contract between Trailducks and the traveller (or hereafter customer, client, contractor, traveller). The terms of the contract also cover any other participants who are represented and financially covered by the same contract.
These General Terms and Conditions constitute an integral part of this agreement.
- REGISTRATION - PARTICIPATION IN WALKING HOLIDAYS
Entries are made through the Trailducks website provided:
- Payment of the prepayment or the entire amount, in cash,
- the unconditional acceptance and compliance with these General Terms.
The right to participate in the excursion is guaranteed by paying the total amount at least 45 calendar days before departure.
Any non-payment of the total value of the trip at the scheduled time entitles Trailducks to cancel the reservation and may require cancellation fees in accordance with the cancellation terms provided herein. The contractor, representing his family or team, has the obligation to inform all his travel agents represented by him about the details and conditions of travel.
Participants through a third party have the same obligations as the representative who enrolled them on tour.
4.OBLIGATIONS - TRAILDUCKS RESPONSIBILITIES
Liabilities
Trailducks has the obligation to co-ordinate and execute in the best possible way its excursions to travellers. However, having exhausted any foreseeability and care, it is not responsible for the wrongful acts and omissions of third parties and their associates, as well as for emergencies such as cancellations, delays or changes in the routes of the various means of transport or in case of exclusion of areas due to reasons of superiority violence.
It is stressed that Trailducks is not in a position to predict or control foreign players in its sphere of influence and may lead to cancellation of travel or damages due to non-performance or poor performance of the agreed travel services. Typical examples of such cases are: strikes, accidents, diseases, epidemics, terrorist acts, earthquakes, extreme weather events, fires, and any other emergency or force majeure. In the above cases, Trailducks is not responsible for any damage caused by them but will exhaust any effort to assist and care for travellers in any way, without establishing liability or obligation to cover the relevant extraordinary costs, which should be covered by the travellers themselves.
Trailducks will not be responsible for any injury, illness, death, loss (including loss of possessions), damage, expense, cost or claim of any description whatsoever resulting from any of the following: - the act (s) and / or omission s) you or any other member of your party or the act (s) and / or omission (s) of a third party not related to the provision of your trip
5. OBLIGATIONS - TRAVEL RESPONSIBILITIES
It is the responsibility of the customer to get to the various places in time for the trip. If the traveller's delay or inconsistency results in a loss of travel or other service, the traveller should, at his / her own responsibility and expense and without a refund, substitute for the lost service.
Trailducks will use its best endeavours to assist him / her with no liability and liability.
If a traveller interrupts his / her journey on his / her own decision, he / she is not entitled to any further service or compensation, and the liability and the extraordinary expenses of any movement are borne solely by him / her. In the same way, our Office assumes no responsibility for package travel services that were not provided to the traveller on his own negligence or liability due to his illness or his sudden accident.
It is the responsibility of the person who makes the booking and payment to be 18 years old and over and has the legal capacity and authority to make the booking and accepts these booking conditions on behalf of everyone in their party.
Also, we will be the point person for all the communications related to the booking.
This person also consents to the use of personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and is authorized to disclose their personal details to us, including, where applicable, special categories of data (such as health information conditions or disabilities and dietary requirements.
It is the responsibility of the traveller to choose an excursion to be able to cope physically, without any problem. Please carefully read our information on the level of difficulty of the tour and, when in doubt, do not hesitate to consult us. Finally, the customer is responsible for informing us if he / she is in any medical condition that may affect his / her participation in the hiking trip.
6. HOTEL-ACCOMMODATION
All information regarding the categorization or classification of the hotels and lodgings listed in our package travel plans is in line with the current hotel and accommodation classification legislation, which may vary from country to country.
The rooms are usually delivered by the hotel at 14:00 and are at the disposal of the tenants until 10.00 - 12:00 on the day of departure (depending on the policy of each hotel). Should you wish to enter the room earlier or leave later, you will have to pay the relevant charge (if there is a similar availability).
If, due to unforeseen difficulties, a hotel change is made with another or higher category, no other compensation is due to travellers.
In case of replacement of a hotel with another lower class, Trailducks will return to the customer the resulting difference, without Trailducks bearing any further liability or liability. In the event of a delayed arrival at the hotel, the traveller, and if he has not informed the hotel or Trailducks in good time, he or she has the right to cancel the reservation and to dispose of the room.
Please note that the traveller is responsible for the cost of any damage to his / her accommodation or its contents during the stay. These fees must be paid by the traveller and may be paid locally.
7. PASSPORTS & VISA VISA
For entry to Greece passport is required or a Latin alphabet for citizens of the Schengen zone. Every traveller is responsible for the validity and validity of his travel documents required for his travel and entry into the country. Trailducks is not responsible for the non-issue or non-endorsement of travel documents by the competent authorities to which the traveller must contact. It also remains the responsibility of travellers to address themselves to the consular authorities of their country to check whether they need an entry visa or any other documents for their entry to Greece.
Failure to ensure the timely issue or endorsement of your travel documents does not justify the cancellation of your travel participation without charge of cancellation fees.
8. INSURANCE
In accordance with European and Greek law (Presidential Decree 336/1996), Trailducks has insured its professional liability to cover the non-performance or defective execution of the contract on its behalf, as well as the reimbursement of the paid and repatriation of travellers in the event of bankruptcy. (Contract number 2224068122).
This insurance policy does not cover repatriation, sickness or theft costs; therefore, Trailducks unquestionably constitutes an additional individual private insurance for travellers with the cover and amounts they wish for life insurance, accidents, luggage, repatriation costs,
European citizens have the choice before contacting their country's insurer for the issue of the European Health Insurance Card.
9. LUGGAGE
In the event of damage or loss, the corresponding international conditions apply for each means of transport and hotels, and liability, in this case, is limited to those provided for under these conditions.
10. OPTIONAL EXCURSIONS
Trailducks depending on the destination may suggest some optional excursions or activities that may be performed by third parties. Trailducks assumes no responsibility for these optional tours / activities as it can not intervene in their organization and can not affect their conduct.
Please note that Trailducks can not accept responsibility for any services that do not form part of our contract.
11. Reservations - Advance payments - cancellations:
Reservations:
Any reservation is accepted only when issued by the Trailducks confirmation invoice to the customer who made the reservation. This confirmation will be sent via email to the customer, and it is at this point that a contract between the Company and the client comes into existence
It is the responsibility of the customer to carefully check the confirmation, itinerary and any other documentation upon receipt and to inform us within ten (10) days of any error or inaccuracy as it may not be possible to make changes at a later stage
Trailducks reserves the right to refuse any booking at their discretion.
Any communication about the contract, as well as requests to change or cancel it, should be made from the Lead Name in writing and in Greek or English by email to sales@Trailducks.gr
Advances:
An advance payment equal to 20% of the total cost or full amount, in cash, through a credit, debit, prepaid card, or bank transfer to Trailducks is foreseen.
The balance of all funds must be received no later than 45 days before the start of the holiday
In the event that the reservation is made in less than 45 days, the entire amount is due for reservation to take effect.
In the event of non-payment by the due date, the Company reserves the right to cancel your booking and cancellations will apply.
Cancellations:
Cancellations may be made at any time, provided that the cancellation is made by the lead name in writing. Notice of cancellation will be effective upon receipt of your written communication.
In the event of cancellation, for any reason, the following cancellation fees apply:
a) Cancellation up to 90 days before departure: refund of the entire deposit.
(b) cancellations from 89 to 45 days before the departure date: 20% of the tour cost;
Cancellations from 44 to 30 days before departure date: 40% of the tour cost;
cancellations from 29 to 15 days before departure date: 60% of the tour cost;
cancellations from 14 to 7 days before departure: 80% of the tour cost;
cancellations less than 7 days before departure or non-show: 100% of the tour cost;
Trailducks reserves the right to modify a program prior to its commencement for reasons of security or force majeure (natural disasters, strikes and other abnormalities). If modified, Trailducks proposes an alternative program. Participants can accept the change or cancel their membership, taking back whatever money they have paid, without any other requirement.
12. Change or transfer of a Booking
Change of a booking
Any change requested in a contract that is in force (for example change to a room, duration of excursion, change of start of excursion, etc.) must be made in writing to sales@Trailducks.gr The Company will make all reasonable efforts to make the requested changes but cannot guarantee that it will be able to meet such requests. In the event of failure to make the change, any implied cancellation of the reservation will be in accordance with the terms of this cancellation.
Trailducks reserves the right to charge as administrative fee 50 € per booking plus any additional costs incurred or imposed by any of our suppliers if a confirmed booking is changed.
Transfer of a booking
It is possible to transfer the reservation to another person under the following conditions:
- The new person should meet all the conditions applicable to the holiday;
- The information must be made no later than 7 days before the start of the trip
- the transferor agrees to these booking conditions and all other terms of the contract between us.
Trailducks reserves the right to charge an amendment fee of 30 € per booking for each transfer.
Complain
Reasonable complaints during the journey must be reported immediately and on-site to Trailducks and to the service provider. If the problem has not been resolved on the spot, after returning from the trip, you must submit in writing to our Office any complaints within ten (10) working days, together with any other documents or other evidence you may have of its justification. After ten (10) days, Trailducks has no obligation to respond to any claim. If damages arise due to non-performance or inadequate performance of package travel arrangements, compensation to the customer is limited to that defined by international conventions that bind the country and govern the benefits in question. In particular: Compensation based on non-performance or inadequate performance of the package travel is limited to twice the value of the individual travel price.
Please note that it is the customer's responsibility to show that our supplier (s) or we have been negligent if you wish to make a claim against us.
13. PAYMENT METHODS
You can pay the deposit and the full amount by bank transfer, credit or debit card. We accept all popular cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Electron American Express, etc.).
There will be no fee for payments made on any card types.

Use of Personal Data
Trailducks may maintain and process a record of personal data that users / visitors voluntarily upload to the Website (indicative name, telephone number, etc.), in accordance with the applicable provisions on the protection of the individual from the processing of personal data. The personal data disclosed on this site are used to perform our services (e.g. bookings in hotels, issue of documents, communication between us, sending of offers, etc.). Also, under the conditions laid down by the law (e.g. obtaining contact information in the context of a lawful prior transaction, prior consent), the Company may use it and / or communicate the personal data to third parties (e.g. hotels, project) for the performance of the contract. The customer may contact the Company to cross-check the existence of the file, correct it, change it or delete it.
14. ADJUSTMENT OF DISPUTES
Trailducks and the customer are committed to resolving in good faith any dispute that may arise in the execution of the contract between them. If the amicable settlement of the dispute is not possible, the Courts of Athens are solely competent.
